Ready for the World (Career Orientation Program for High School Students)
Career Orientation Program in Kolkata
Ready for the World was an interactive workshop as a career orientation program for high school students designed for students of class X, XI, and XII. They are on the verge of stepping out of the familiar environment of home and long-standing school friends that they have grown up with. To be successful in the new environment of college life they need to be self-confident and worldly-wise.
The workshop was meant to equip them on multiple aspects of life that lie ahead ranging from self-motivation to presentation skills such that post completion of the workshop they emerge as confident young adults. We aimed to provide them exposure to social graces and skills that would help them develop the confidence to meet the challenges of a highly competitive world that they are about to step into.
Twenty-one schools registered for the workshop and we had a full house. Apart from students, teachers and principals also came to observe.
